We were the only 2 people in restaurant no apology offered for the delay. We opted for lunch special, entree main for $30 per person. Great value for money. Menu extensive. Entrees Salt Pepper bruschetta was delicious. Salt Pepper Calamari- calamari was a tad bland bit tough. Rump steak flavoursome and tasty. Chicken mushrooms risotto. It seems to be missing the chicken mushrooms. The risotto and parmesan cheese was creamy very tasty. Food was good, nothing special.."

"Really nice night at the Blue Bell hotel in Ballarat, Victoria last night for their Trivia night. Alan was the host and such a nice fellow that did a great job. Lots of laughs and learnt heaps. The Blue Bell hotel opened in 1859 in the gold rush and is the second oldest hotel in Ballarat. We even won 2 bottles of beautiful local wine, how good is that. Really good value meals that were delicious too. $13 for a roast Turkey dinner that was very yummy and exactly the right amount and with $7 pints of mid strength beer to wash it down, it was perfect. Susie had $13 fish, chips and salad which she enjoyed too. Great pub and an awesome night."
