"After careful consideration I thought what the hell. Let's try this place. I grew up in Fairfield and this place has been here ever since I can remember 1993 baby! so they must be doing something right. <br/ <br/ Absolutely delicious food! Surprisingly!Will be back! <br/ A banquet for $25 per head. Good serving and fast service. The beef melted in my mouth. The lemon chicken amazing. Although it may seem dull inside with the 70s Asian vibe decor you can still have a laugh and byo with ya mates! The phones are running hot with takeaways orders so I think that's where they've hit the spot cheers."

"We normally order Chinese from a different place but after that place closed down, this was the closest delivery option, so we gave it a go after a bad experience a few years back and were pleasantly surprised. Although the food took 1 hour to arrive, it was all really tasty and I would recommend the chicken teriyaki. A dish to avoid is the curry puffs as they are soggy and mushy however the steamed dimsims are a nice entree!"

"This restaurant looks a bit ordinary from the outside but the food is really good. The menu is pretty standard for Australian Chinese restaurants but the standard of the dishes is well above average. Worth trying."

"We tried Yummy Palace a few years ago when nothing else was open. Not the biggest fans of Chinese cuisine due to the variety of bad Chinese restaurants out there. We won. We had no bad meal there in dozens of visits....We had home delivery and ate. Highlights are the big ones (1 up to a serving spring rolls) and my favorite food is the chicken omelet. One of the best ways to enjoy the Yummy Palace is by the Ascot Vale Cellars next door. Enjoy a handcrafted beer while waiting for your meal to be brought to you! Five stars!"

"We quite often visit here when in the area. Food is always fresh tasty we usually get a Bento Box each with maybe a side of sushi. The sushi is of good quality: right temperature, right texture right consistency of ingredients. Very fussy when it comes to my sushi this place has always been given the tick of approval from me. The Bento was hot fast coming out of the kitchen. If you are after a delicious quick meal, this is definitely the place to come."

"Dining at Jim Wong's restaurant has been on my list for a very long time. I am sorry that I am finally here after the passing of the legendary Jim earlier this year. The food is delicious and the service very good. We enjoyed the lemon chicken, seafood clay pot, satay beef, chilli prawns and scallops and vegetables and all of the dishes were tasty. I will be back."
