"If you're craving a freshly made Italian sandwich or just a sandwich in general and you're in the area... I would recommend stopping at this random little family run Italian store that not only serves up freshly made sandwiches, pasta, and also doubles as an Italian grocery store (selling limited items though).This place is popular with trades people for lunch from what I gather after visiting during a weekday. They offer up two different sizes of sandwiches: regular or large. I ordered the Italian while my fiancé ordered the roast beef option. We both enjoyed our respective sandwiches, which you can also get grilled in a more panini-like style or just cold.Be forewarned, the owner of the place, an old Italian lady is not very friendly... Strictly business for her, and she doesn't have time for those who don't know what they're getting.... Or at least that's the impression I got when we were there.Thankfully, the hired help making our sandwiches was friendlier and smiled at least!They have limited seating options at a counter top table facing the side street."

"We had been visiting Stephano and family for years at their old location , SANTOS, before every Eskimos game. While we still visit Santos and the new owners we have now become semi regulars again at the Italian Place!! The Food it to die for...the Aranicini balls are sooooo good! Stephano constantly makes us feel welcomed and the service is great! We do miss Crystal though..thanks for another great meal folks!!"
