"Probably the most TASTELESS restaurant ive ever been to. No salt, no pepper, NOTHING, the food was soo bland i thought i had lost my tastebuds and had covid, but glad it wasnt me, it was them! And when i said something about the food not being good, the manager came over and said well thats how they make it unfortunately!! SICKKKK!"

"We love Spezia and it has always been our go to for anniversary and birthday dinners. Last night though the food failed to impress. It’s not that the food was bad, it just wasn’t nearly as good as we have come to expect, especially for the price. The crab dip appetizer looked fantastic when it came out, but once we started eating it, it just tasted like something you would get at a grocery store and warm up. The squash in the squash risotto was undercooked, whether that was on purpose or not I don’t know, but it made for a difficult time enjoying the dish, the rest of the risotto was just ok. The other main course dish we had was the gnocchi, it was very tasty and had an air of what we used to feel when eating at Spezia. I want to make it absolutely clear, the food was not bad, it just wasn’t as good as we have come to expect for the name Spezia and the price you pay. The service was excellent, our waiter was attentive and polite, he was enjoyable and seemed to be very busy but still was able to make it around and check on us enough. We will definitely be going to Spezia again."
