"OBSESSED with this place. I have never tasted better pies! It is quite literally one of my goals to taste every flavor on their menu, but so far, southern banana cream is my favorite. Literally thought I died and went to heaven when I had my first bite of that slice!"

"I have mixed feelings about this place. My dining companions and I tried several different items off the brunch, lunch, and dessert menus. The Farmers Market brunch item was like a bento box, and the items were good. BLT sandwich was okay. Chorizo gravy and biscuits was too salty. Chicken pot pie was good (traditional pot pie with a fried chicken leg sticking out of it). Chicken salad made with yogurt was sweet, which wasn't expected and not preferred. Their "cronut" was decent, but not like the original in NYC. The desserts were the biggest disappointment. The coconut cream pie was the better of the group, but not something I'd order again. The brown butter banana cake had way too much frosting; flavor profile was there just unbalanced by too much frosting and too little cake. The chocolate mocha was the worst. The frosting was bland, much like eating faintly flavored, very slightly sweetened shortening. Should you dine here, definitely skip the desserts; they look much better than they taste."

"We ate at the bar. A variety of beers are on tap and Tracy is attentive and friendly. TV's around the bar are tuned to sports. And the Simpsons. With closed captions. My wife and I ordered the 6 oz filet. The server very professionally delivered our meals and asked that we cut into the steaks to be sure they were satisfactorily cooked. Wife's needed a little more heat and it was returned cooked to perfection. The salads were crisp and large. My sweet potato was sizable and wife's vegetable k-bob was excellent. The hot rolls with butter are almost a dessert by themselves. Oh, and the peanuts make for a good appetizer. We will return."

"Kamp’s is about community support. For years cyclists have used Kamp’s as a halfway point in their rides because nobody is rude about sweating people of all shapes and ages coming in wearing spandex. Today they saved our bacon by hosting the chess tournament my son was playing in after there was an emergency at the other venue. The food is great too."
