"Second time this week I stopped by this restaurant and waited 10 minutes at the register to order and was never waited on so I left. There is a reason that this taco bell has the reputation of being the second worst fast food place in pensacola, beaten out only by burger king on mobile hwy. I doubt any of the higher ups read these reviews however... if they do I figured I would include my business model and hopefully help restore this restaurant to its former glory. If I was the GM I would shut this location down for 1 week. In that week I would: 1. Day one- inform all current employees that their services are no longer needed. 2. Day 1 and 2 would be used for on the spot interviews and they would have to agree to my business plans and execute them as directed otherwise- they would also be let go. The last 3-7 days would be used to train the new staff and make sure they know how customers SHOULD be treated and that if they are not treated in that way the employee turnover rate would be extremely high until I got staff that strives for excellence. By the 3 month mark I would expect the turnover rate to decrease, sales to increase, and reviews to be higher than they have been in years. If that was not the case I would respectfully resign because a real manager leads by example- not just tells other people what to do. Also because I am a woman of my word and if I promise success and eventually fail then I deserve to be replaced also."

"Ask to sit in Ashley's section for the best service anywhere!!! Please tip her well because she deserves it! It's hard to find good customer service anymore! We are part of a small group of friends that always go here for the Monday tacos special and we always sit in the waitress Ashley's section--because she is always so happy and such a wonderful person! We love her! They have great fresh salsa and chips that are complimentary and we pretty much eat our body weight in chips and salsa... Our group favorite taco is black bean with grilled onions on top! Yum! Try it!"

"I rarely ever leave reviews but I feel like I have to after our experience tonight! It's our 9 year anniversary and we experienced such phenomenal service from the hostess to our server, Heather. She was truly wonderful and checked on us many times throughout our meal, even offered dessert (which we were WAY too full for, lol) She was so wonderful. I can't say enough kind things. It's the first time we've been out in a long time, we have a three year old so we never get out just the two of us. I was so appreciative of her. We came to Applebee's on our first date 9 years ago and Heather made me so happy we decided to carry on the tradition after the Bayou location closed. Thank you, Heather and other staff. Sincerely. You all deserve raises with how packed the house was tonight, and how attentive you all were regardless. We will be back."

"Our service was fine but my fork had dried food on it after unwrapping it from the napkin so did my daughters. Had to dig through the salad plates to find one that was clean. Legitimately dig through them. Could see lip marks on my cup from the last person who drank out of it. Had been at least 15 since being here because I remember being grossed out once before. Will never being going back to this chain, so gross."
