"Longs Kitchen has been a long time dependable go to for a quick and tasty workday lunch. I can only comment on one menu item though - the grilled chicken roll. Have consumed dozens of these things over the years and they are always of a high standard. Filled with the chicken, coriander, cucumber, carrot, lettuce and your choice of hot or sweet chilli sauce, as well as optional fresh chilli, it always hits the spot. The price has risen over the years from $4.90 to currently $5.90, but this is perfectly acceptable. For what it is, highly recommended! Friendly staff are a bonus too, always serving with a smile.

"Absolutely incensed about my experience ordering online, do NOT do it. The app is not user friendly and will place an order when it says it's taking you to review. My order was mistakenly canceled by the store, so I never received it and have yet to receive my refund after 7 business days. At this point they've simply stolen 36 dollars from me. I've contacted DoorDash, and Red Rooster multiple times but no one seems to be able to do anything except say they've contacted corporate, which you cannot find a number for. Absolutely abysmal experience, and I don't think I'll ever be using them again after this whole fiasco."

"Group of 4 of us went today for lunch after being recommended by a friend. we have walked past previously with line ups out the door. it was still busy today. 3 of us had the chicken and salad and one had pork. no one was impressed with the meat. The chicken was fatty and oily. small serves of meat for $13.50 each. the salad was the highlight. none of us will return."

"Do you want a super filling reel that doesn't cost a fortune.... don't look further than Long's Kitchen. Her grilled chicken roll is a great value at $5.90. They also make pig or combination rolls. They have a variety of other dishes available to eat or take away... but I prefer the role as it is the best value for money. The store is located on Flinders Street, right from Pultney Street, towards Victoria Squre. If you are in the area from Monday to Friday, make sure to stop at noon you are not sorry."
