"Coming from Montreal the Indian restaurants are really just holes in the wall. Tiny places not great decor packed in tables but great food and ambiance patron wise. No onto flavours of India. walking in were surprised t the amount of room between tables positively spacious. Clean lines modern contemporary decor bright friendly atmosphere. were greeted at the door by probably the owner. He was very nice, very polite. We would simply say that as the front-man, he just could have been a tad more outgoing as we are very friendly people (we like to laugh and enjoy people). Our waiter was very amusing and friendly, maybe a little shy at first but got caught up in our humour! He was very attentive, served well, brought the ice bucket for the wine when we asked and took our teasing in stride. The funniest part of the meal, was when my wife dug into one of the dishes that was on the hot side and immediately flushed and grabbed the water - the cook happened to come out and look over and he and our waiter seem to be having a chuckle at her momentary discomfort (although she did think it was delicious!!!) Overall, the food was extremely good, the ambience was great and I think a good time was had by all!! (and that would include the homeless gent that got the doggy bag!!) as we had no fridge in our room to keep it overnight. Clean, bright, spacious interior, friendly and accommodating staff, in short an absolute pleasure! We will be sure to clear some time for another visit when we come again! Thanks to everyone at Flavours of India!!!"
