"I was in the area and wanted a Bloody Maria, so I decided to look by. I got soup and wings since I hadn't eaten. My Bloody was Yummers and my server understood my request for additional olives. I had two. The red pepper soup was the star of the show. It was so delicious with small pieces of tomatoes and cheese... I think so. Whatever it was, it was amazing. I had the hot wings... all the apartments... very tasty. My Lil afternoon joy was worth every dollar."

"I found my way into the shop today totally by accident (I thought it was a bakery). Tamika Catchings was there and both she and her staff made my introduction to the shop the best mistake I've made all week. I didn't get a doughnut but I did walk out with some delicious carrot cake."

"We got 2 meals the fried green tomato sandwich was wonderful. The biscuits and gravy were terrible. Maybe made with non dairy not sure and the biscuits were not fluffy and a bit hard. Atmosphere was just ok reminded me of a flea market dining area. Price are high ."

"Visited without a reservation on the off chance they could squeeze us in. Met by Sharon who was lovely and made sure we got in even though they appeared to be extremely busy pre Christmas. After we sat down in their beautiful space inside Saks 5th Ave, we ordered afternoon tea accompanied by a couple of Mimosas. Service was attentive, friendly and based on the conversation with our waitress about Yorkshire tea, very knowledgeable. The food was excellent, we are English expats and have had tea in various establishments in London and Manchester and this was up there with them all. Finger sandwiches were delicious, especially the egg mayonnaise and cucumber and cheese. Pastries were delicate, fresh and tasty, and to top it off, a lovely homemade scone with real clotted cream, a first for me in the States as you can’t get it here! Who would have thought that such an authentic English experience could be found in such pleasant surroundings in the midwest, but here it is. A real treat, highly recommended, we’ll be back soon…….
