"We had a happy hour and two wonderful dinners in the Library Lounge, Verandah, the restaurant during the stay at Inn on Biltmore Estate. After a long day to the mansion, thrive village and dodging torrential showers, we wandered down into the library spiced on the beautiful veranda with padded swing chairs and small tables. The rain was stopped so that we set ourselves and as we did, the sun came out! Secondly, a server appeared and asked if we wanted something. Of course! A bottle of Biltmore Pinot Grigio Pellegrino and a lush cheese plate was loaded and we had a pleasant and happy hour to relax and enjoy the spectacular views. Later, when the evening was a little cool, we asked the same attentive server if we could pull in. Of course! He moved our bill into the lounge, he collected our cool bottle of Pinot, and led us to a reserved bay window table for dinner and also continued his excellent service! (It was so special not to pass to another server! A continuum of service perfection! Weather permit to have wine and cheese on the porch library is a not to miss experience. We also enjoyed the French onion soup the Caesar Salad! Pro Tip: Here is something that is good to know when you bring in a bottle of every Biltmore wine to one of the restaurants on the property they will serve you without a cork fee. (Saves the Pinot is 13 a bottle in the winery, but 30 some of the bottle in the restaurant hope that this has not even changed a nominal cork fee yet much! You can buy your wine in the winery shop just steps from the Bistro and the gift shop at the Inn. We liked to stay so much here last spring, we go back next week for Halloween weekend! Although we made early dinner reservations in the chic dining room, I am sure we also at the library in the lobby of the Inn, it was wonderful! The Library Lounge also features Live Piano Music Jazz"

"My wife 's Spinach-Parmesan risotto that accompanied the delicious sockeye-salmon (perfectly cooked as she asked) was the best risotto ever tasted . Likewise the Chicken Nostimon was excellent. We enjoyed the Spinach-Artichoke dip as a starter, but there were so many tempting appetizers that we 'll need to return often to try them all. Server was knowledgeable and we appreciated the thoughtful consideration of the owner stopping by the tables to inquire about our meals."
