"I completely recommend julies, it is delicious every time. However I do not recommend ordering anything with an hour of closing, or ever ordering a Philly cheesesteak/hot sandwiches. I say this only because the employees make it super evident that they cannot make hot food within an hour of closing or take the time to make a Philly cheesesteak at any time of the day really. It shouldn’t be on the menu, if it’s such a major inconvenience to make. It doesn’t make my family want to order what we like from this restaurant if it seems to upset the employees. Once again the food is amazing, most everyone is super nice, but no one here wants to make hot sandwiches."

"Nice place a little distance from all the hustle and bustle. I was looking for a quiet, not-crowded place to eat. The ribs fell off the bone and the meat literally melted in my mouth. The have a nice spread of sauces on the table (Mustard, Hot, Vinegar, creamy). Just a really nice low key place to have some delicious bbq. Plenty of parking and 5 min from all the shopping stuff"

"Looking for the perfect place to eat in Aiken South Carolina. Go to Betsy’s on the corner. yes step back in time to the 50s and early 60s music playing in the background motif of the restaurant is amazing. Then you meet the most energetic happy waitresses and waiters who greet you with hello darling. You need to try some of the appetizers like the fried green tomatoes and the permit a cheese on Pita bread. After that I would suggest one of their crafted hamburgers absolutely delicious but don’t leave before you have a slice of strawberry cake. A true five out of five restaurant."

"I only give this 2 stars because there is one young woman who is very pleasant each time I come in. She always describes the menu and lets me know the specials!! However, there is an older lady that works there, who I've constantly had bad experiences with, as well as another friend. My last encounter with her has left a bad taste in my mouth. When I started to order my coffee, the older lady immediately turned around and poured whole milk in my cup. She didn't wait for me to tell her the flavor or if I even wanted the drink hot!!!!! It was demeaning and DISRESPECTFUL, to say the least. I took the drink, walked away, and threw it in the trash. I would prefer to lose $10 than deal with her ever again. Customer service can make or break a restaurant. This lady has broken it for me!!! I will not recommend this establishment again."

"Wonderful. Long time since we had a 'date night ', so I decided to take a little trip to Aiken. WOW!!! Everything in one package....clean, professional wait staff, fantastic menu. We shy away from 'franchise food ' and seek special places like this. Our meals were great! Clearly, this was just 'a first '. Will return!! Many more menu items to explore!"

"What a particularly nice hidden treasure! I was in the area. I wasn't as familiar with the surrounding eateries. So, I took a shot with this place. The hotdog I had was out of this world! It was a really pleasant experience all the way around. The scenery was set around the 50's and 60's. Even had a cool cowboy show on the television screen. I had to make myself get up and leave. It was like taking a trip back to the 1960's for a short run. Locally owned and operated, this lovely little establishment was being run by a very kind lady and some children from her family. What a place. If you're out by the airport in Aiken, SC please don't miss a chance to check this place out. I told them before I finally left, I'd be back. I will likely bring my family next time ?"
