"Great BBQ all around. Fresh homemade tortillas with tender moist Angus beef brisket, tender pork, outstanding chopped beef, an amazing smoked chicken salad. I have never been disappointed with anything on this menu. They have homemade sauces to put on the BBQ if you are a Sauce person. Any other negative reviews are incorrect, don't know real TX BBQ, or were born with silver spoons up their wazoo. Support the local homemade non chain BBQ that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Owners are very nice people and take care of there customers. I'd pick these fellas over Cooper's, Franklin's, Mueller's, or Rudy's any day of the week. Head out to there place. Bring some beer and eat some BBQ."

"Friendly staff, very good food and a cool atmosphere. my wife and I both had the chicken steak with gravy, I had the fries on the side and she had smudged the kartoffels. we both thought that the steak was well prepared and delicious, with a very good brot on it. it's easy to see why this is a favorite dish. my wife thought the kartoffeln mashed would be more garlic taste on the basis of the menu description, but they tasted still good. portions were large, we could probably have shared a deer and were good, but we decided that we did not make any rest and are glad that we had our own records. we also left space for dessert and the jack daniels pecan pie really hit the point. I thought the chocolate chips, if not necessary, complicated it well. my wife thought it needed more chocolate based on his description. we had said the prices were a bit high, but we didn't think so. if we're back close to gruene, we'd like to try some other dishes again, as everything that came to the tables around us looked great."

"Fell in love with this charming Coffee Shop! The Home-made Mexican wedding cakes are the best I have ever had! Everything on their menu looks totally delicious! The owner and her staff are super friendly and welcoming! One more day here in New Braunfels and so I will be going back again before we go home!! Next time for lunch...going to order the adult Grilled cheese or the Monte Cristo...or maybe both just so I get to try them!"
