"I have been hearing about this place for the longest time but never got a chance to visit but I finally did recently. Located at the corner of the street, Meet Gerard is clearly a local’s favourite, we had to wait for around 5-10 min for a table but it’s all worth it. The staff were very nice and friendly and it’s a lovely place to sit and hang out with your friends. <br/ <br/ We ordered one of their specials, creamed corn with shallots, chorizo, smokey prapika, soft poached eggs and toasts. This dish was seriously amazing, unlike anything I’ve had before, it also fills your tummy up, hope it will make it to their all day menu. Another dish we ordered was their signature ‘milk honey’ yoghurt panna cotta dish. It was very delicious and definitely a great choice for breakfast/brunch! <br/ <br/ Coffee in general was well made, with roaster from Coffee Alchemy!<br/ <br/ I cannot wait to give it another visit soon!<br/ <br/ Feel free to check out more foodie posts on my instagram @pignic_ !<br/"

"Can always count on BSB when I am stuck on what to eat or need a pick me up. As it was so early in the morning, I skipped the amazing pies sausage rolls opted to try the bacon egg roll almond praline croissant. Love the bread used for the BAE roll the tomato relish. There was also a generous amount of bacon so it was highly satisfying. The almond praline croissant had a delicious filling that was moist, crunchy sweet. The pastry on this particular occasion though was a bit over baked for my liking was fairly crunchy hard around the outside rather then just right flakey. Still love this place of course I couldnt help but get a few tarts my favourite muffin to go."

"Had brunch with hubby at this busy roadside cafe. The menu is exciting with plenty of options for brunch. The flat white and iced mocha we had was well received being fussier with coffee, hubby was delighted with coffee by Coffee Alchemy! We tried...2 dishes: The breakfast signature dish: the Milk and Honey’ which was a creative take on yoghurt and granola beautifully presented with plenty of variety: vanilla pannacotta, granola, fresh grapes and strawberries, dried apricots and shaved coconut finished with a drizzle of honey. Gerard’s breakkie bowl this was a very filling option! Puy lentils, brown rice and quinoa with a wedge of avocado, broccolini, kale, grilled haloumi and an egg. Generous proportions including 2 slices of bread given the healthy ingredients, this meal lasted us well past lunchtime! Mention must be made of the friendly and attentive service from wait staff. We would highly recommend this cafe for a delicious brunch. The only downsides was the noise from the traffic (sometimes large trucks going by) and that frappes were not available!"

"I asked a friend about Joe's Restaurant and I received great reviews, so I decide I would check it out. I organized a little family get together there and had a superb night out. The staff were welcoming and looked after us as soon as we arrived.Although the chicken schnitzel was recommended to me I want to try something else.The food ranges from Italian to Portuguese style dishes with the prices way to good for the sizes they offer. I would recommend this place to anyone working or living in the Alexandria/Mascot/Rosebery areas or someone like myself who lives approx 20 minute drive away.Great job guys with the serve and quality of food, I'll be seeing you again :)"
