"I am vegetarian so I had to order the fried green tomatoes sandwich without bacon. It was served on a croissant. It was ok, but I have had this sandwich at many other restaurants and this one was disappointing. The tomatoes were sliced so thin that when you bit into the sandwich all you could taste was the crunchy batter on the outside. Also it would have been much better on a sourdough bread. My major issue with this place was the water. I always drink water with my meals at every restaurant. Sometimes they serve tap water and ice which is ok. However, the water here is horriblehorriblehorrible. It taste like you are drink water through a rusty iron pipe. It was the worse water imaginable. I was force to order a mixed drink so I wouldn’t choke to death on my sandwich. I was afraid to order anything that may contain water. I only gave them 3 stars for the atmosphere and service time.I will not be back mainly because of the water they use to wash dishes, serve to customers to drink."

"Zaxby's is a great chicken place! My favorite dishes are the chicken sandwich, the cobb salad and the fried chicken salad. They are friendly and have been doing a great job since covid happened. The dining room is closed, with the drive-thru only open. They get customers through quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, sometimes the chicken is a little tough or dried out, but not always. That only happens every once in a while, thus the 4 star rating."

"Wonderful staff. We accidentally left something in the parking lot. We called to see if they had it. They said they did and would keep it in the safe until we returned. The staff is super friendly and the restaurant is the cleanest fast food restaurant I have ever been in. I will say that the entrance to the parking lot is bit tricky, but the drivers in Cookeville are great about letting you in and out. It is also a very short distance from I-40 which made getting in and back out on the road very easy."

"The staff is always friendly. We have never had a bad server and frequent this place often. Kids eat cheap and adults have plenty of options. Recommend ordering a skillet of queso with chips and salsa as an app. The brown queso dip is out of this world good. Fun atmosphere to converse and eat as a family. Highly recommend eating here for budget and quality"

"Generous portions and the catfish was fried perfectly (not at all mushy). All the food... Burger, okra, and catfishes tasted like the lid of the Season All shaker had fallen off. It was WAY over seasoned on everything. That and it really didn't like the sweet tea."
