"The first bite of my cheeseburger was an omg this is delicious beefy juicy flavourful creation. BRAVO!! Do you know when you taste something and you have to close your eyes.This is the best I 've had.At that point I felt guilty for thinking that it was a mistake to share it, but with the authentic poutine as a combo, I really would be needing a nap. The poutine was as good as I have tried in Montréal.I will be back again and again."

"HORRIBLE!!! Got the family feast with onion rings and a gravy on the side. To start, I had to wait 45mins for them to prepare it. After receiving it, I already had a bad feeling. The gravy is so watery and has other mixtures to it.. Seems like they literally used a chicken broth cube and mixed it in water. Ate some of the onion rings and it tasted HORRIBLE!! BLAND flavour. The chicken pieces and strips tasted literally like oil and only oil. They overfried the chicken completely. Look at the pictures, there are black spots on the pieces because of how overfried it is. 30mins later, after eating, I felt so sick and threw up. Worst mistake of my life. I'm not one to normally throw away my food, and this is the first time i threw it out!!! NEVER AGAIN. Close this place down...."

"Gotta say this was the worst service I've had in a long time. Initially things went well we were greeted politely and seated promptly. Our server, Zach, came right away and took our drink order and we seemed to have a good rapport. Then it all went south. The drinks, 2 draft beer, took a long time to come and then when they did we ordered our appie and I thought that given the time it was taking this person to get things done we'd better order our mains. Mistake number one. We waited a good half hour and there was no sign of our server or our appie. We were toward the end of our beer with no offer to supply a second or any sign of an appie. I was under the impression he'd decided to take a break (at our expense). Suddenly the server appeared with our mains, did not supply any cutlery to eat with and when reminded about the appie he appeared flustered and hurried away. Then we sat wondering if he'd gone to get us some cutlery. Nope not happening. I went up to the reception desk and asked if we could have cutlery and told them to cancel the appie. They did that but basically our server ghosted us after that. We decided to pay by the app as our server was not reappearing and we specifically did not want to tip, why would we? To our surprise we found the app had added a 15% tip. That's just no cool. The food was ok but my wife's meal was really not what she ordered but by that time we just wanted to eat and flee. I would say this young server was either very new or just lacked a lot of training. A very poor experience over all and has made me think twice about going to any other Montanas again"
