"This is the most disgusting place I've ever eaten in my life. terrible service, disgusting eating and dreadfully overpriced. the plates are dirty and utensil not even washed. I came out the afternoon at 2 o'clock the lights when he turned it on when we came in, he sat in the dark. he has not even waiter in the restaurant, which is the only waiter it is. I ordered two entrées and a kani salad, who looked disgusting that it wasn't even really shredded, it tasted terrible as if they had made it home, did not come into a restaurant. And the Chinese eat the two entrées I had ordered, had a terrible taste to them, it was so disgusting and I forced to change to eat. for two entrées, a kani salat, earlylingsrolle, an salat and dumpling I paid $203 the tips he himself included $30 he taken for himself. how could these little portions be for small food $203 when I told the chef who is also the waiter) they overload me and the eating was disgusting, he said that it is not important, and that this is a 23-year-old business and that they must pay, they cannot decide how much drinking money to leave. they do not come to this place unless they want to be robbed of their money I wish I could give this place zero stars that was so bad. terrible place if you could only taste how bad the sauce was, and how bad the hawn wasn't even tasted fresh. Come here."

"I lived in Indonesia for six years and I have been waiting to find a place that has authentic Indonesian food. Java Indonesian restaurant in Brooklyn was like a homecoming for me. We ordered ayam goreng or fried chicken, beef rendang and chicken satay. The ayam goreng was a crispy chicken breast that came in a rich sauce of kecap manis (dark, sweet soy sauce) over a bed of lettuce. The beef rendang was incredibly flavorful I could easily taste the lemongrass and spices. It was stewed perfectly with fall apart beef cubes in a coconut milk based sauce. The rice was perfect to soak up to juices from the rendang and the fried chicken. The chicken satay was tender and absolutely covered in a savory peanut sauce. I also recommend asking for a side of homemade sambal and kecap manis to dip your goodies into. Please come through and support this wonderful business!"

"I called to the restaurant to add soy sauce to my meal, not only did they charge me for soy sauce but they didn’t even include it with my meal. When I called to try address the issue, the person at the restaurant said “oh well, just ask Uber for your money” and hung up the phone. This is the second time this has happened when ordering food from this establishment, so this will definitely be my last."
