"My husband introduced me to this restaurant and it’s owners. The food is fresh, flavourful and made with love. The falafel sandwich and tabuli is a must try. The luncheon features are tasty and authentic Lebanese dishes. I would recommend this lunch spot to all."

"We often walk by this unassuming eating establishment. It is actually two eateries in one space one being Al Basha. The other looks to be a sandwhich/samosa place. Both have very good prices and we will stop in to try the sandwiches next time....However, this time we were in the mood for falafel and were we ever surprised. The chef (owner said that they make fresh falafel as they are ordered, which sounded great, but the taste is amazing. There is a spice I haven't had in other falafels, and the vegetables are just as fresh and tasty. Then there is the price for quality, service and price, Al Basha is hard, if not impossible, to beat. Best tasting falafel in Vancouver, and a falafel wrap at makes it the best deal in town. We'll be back for sure. Highly recommended"

"I went to the Mediterranean grill for the time tonight. While it’s basically a little hole in the wall, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was outstanding and huge. So much flavour. While it’s served in togo containers, it’s well worth going. We glasses of good wine, a beer, chicken and beef shawarma. So delish. The staf were wonderful polite and kind. Highly recommend. Not fancy. Just good"

"I was hoping for a fix of donair or Schwarma but was subjected to a combo of ,in Anthony Bourdains words, nonpremium meats in the combo platter .The rice was hard, meat salty and greasy and little in the way of sauce to wash this down. This was disappointment for place in my neighbourhood ."

"We visit Aladdin for a quick lunch/dinner when we visit Vancouver. We usually order the chicken shawerma wrap. It's a great quick meal for the price. It is always very clean in the food prep area. They are fairly generous with the meat portions, however our salad was smaller than expected. Perfect for lunch!"

"Looking for a fast and cost-effective bite in the inner city we stopped at the falafel maison: a small restaurant with a table, as well as a series of chairs and a counter switch with the lively robson street. we ordered a Falafel-Pita and a schawarma plate. both were delicious and. the portions generous. I am not surprised that this restaurant also seems to do a flourishing take-out business. a good bet."

"We went into this Robson Street restaurant after a long day on Grouse Mountain. The options were great, and the meal was very filling and satisfying. A number of suggested options otherwise you can customise a meal. I opted for the butter chicken while my...husband opted for the greek. Left me feeling very full and happy"
