"They have one of the best Indian flavor in Pittsburgh. Have been mostly to all key Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh. I will rate this one on top. Very authentic flavors. This new management and staff are really focusing on quality food and couteous service. I will love to visit them again and again. I do agree that they are a bit on the outskirts of downtown, but its certainly worth a walk to go and have food there."

"This was the second time my friends and I ate at Alihan's before going to the Benedum for a show. The food is awesome. We love the grilled veggies and the Chef Borek is to die for! My lamb shish kabob was so tender and perfectly seasoned, it tasted like filet mignon. The rice pilaf was also excellent. The side salad was disappointing a better dressing is needed tasted very bland. We also like the reasonable prices and the BYOB option. Overall, I give Alihan's a 4.8/5.0 rating and will definitely return."

"I want to give this place a better score, but I just can't in all honesty. You can tell they use good ingredients. The sauce is good, the cheese is good, and the toppings are good. Owner seems really nice. But the crust is honestly *really* bad. It was WAYundercooked. Extremely floppy. If it was cheaper, I could let it slide, but $40 for cheese bread and a large pizza is just waytoo much for how bad the crust was. Ingredient quality is the only reason it isn't a one star. There are just so many cheaperplaces I can go to who have better pies, even if the ingredients are worse, just because of the crust."

"A great place to pickup some authentic Caribbean food. You will receive enough food to fill you up. Good tasting food so try the salmon stew which is my favorite. Parking can be troublesome but the food is worth the trouble."
