"The food was delicious, authentic (the potatoes reminded me of my grandmother), and portions were generous. it's the best close east I had in oakville. the owner told me that this restaurant is a love work in which they, their mother and daughter all work together and share the recipes with which they grew up are a mix of family recipes from libanon, Armenia and Greece. as an additional note they have many gluten-free and vegan options. two of us are zöliakie and I am glad to report that they have taken this seriously, prepared our eating on a separate surface and have understood enough about our needs that I did not have to explain what we needed. so happy we found this place."

"I've been going to Souvlaki Hut since 2000, when it was just the one original restaurant in Clarkson. Back then the price was reasonable, the food was delicious, and the service (by Nick) came with a smile. We went at least once a week.Now the food has strayed so far from the original that it is unrecognizable. The tzatziki could just as well be cream cheese, there is no flavor. The salad is wilted and the dressing too sparse and with not enough vinegar (Nick used to dress the salad by hand and he always got it right). The feta is like dust. The spanakopita used to be so fresh, moist and tasty. Now it's just a square of nothingness. It's so frustrating to see something that used to be so good turn into something so bland. This location in particular is really not good. Clarkson is still decent."

"The food was good but I wouldn't come back because the service was awful. The server was actually rude and so was the hostess. He tried to sway us into not waiting for a table by telling us the waiting time is over an hour when it took 20 min... The patio concept is nice but the tables are very close to each"

"Came here on a whim, looking for some decent food at a good price. This place went above and beyond. I ordered the lamb-rosia pita with pomegranate. It was huge, the lamb was cooked just right and the flavours worked together perfectly (the sweetness of the pomegranate and caramelized onion contrasting with the lamb and feta). The woman behind the counter was very nice, easy to talk to, and was enthusiastic about the food. Definitely worth the price and I will be recommending this place to my friends. I would not usually write a review but this place took me by surprise and the world needs to know."

"I had the chicken dinner. One kabob, rice, potatoes, flat bread, tzatziki and a Greek salad. Yum. It was a lot of food for about 15 dollars."

"I love this place, I go here often with my mum as it’s near her place. Nothing super fancy but very good quality and good portion sizes as well at a super fair price.We usually split a large chicken souvlaki dinner and (sometimes french fries was 32 bucks all in (including French fries with good portion sizes.Service has been very good, staff are very nice here.I would have taken a picture, but we were hungry : .Definitely worth it in my books."

"This place is a hidden gem for a quick bite whether it be B,L or D. I was super impressed with the quality of the food and they always make my French Fries perfectly crispy. The food I'd fresh, hit and delicious. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the owner and staff are amazingly friendly and offer top quality service. Drop in and try thus place out the next time you are in the area. You will be leaving quite satisfied on all levels. My new go to spot whenever I'm in Oakville in the mornings."
