"We dropped in here on Canada Day for an expected good dinner. I tried the Cashew Chicken Special for $13.50 and my partner had Pad Thai - also $13.50. We seemed to be forgotten once we were given a glass of tepid water with no ice. We noticed a family behind us kept getting the wrong food. Other tables around us had to ask for orders to be taken. After waiting about 30 minutes food began to come from kitchen. I reminded waiter of our drink order, a beer and an iced tea in a can. We had slightly amended the order from a plain lettuce salad to a Mango salad. Once it came in a very small dish, they never came back to remove any empty dishes or refill our waters. I reminded waiter number two of our order and drink order. Finally my cashew chicken cam out with rice but not my partners pad thai. It came about 5 minutes later. Once we got it, it was quite tasty. The table behind us had to ask for bill two or three times before his family got up and left and he had to almost shout that he wanted his bill and "I want to leave and you are not letting me leave!!". Finally he got a debit machine brought to him. I saw three other tables get up and leave without being served anything more than water. The restaurant was busy but not extremely so as there was no waiting at the door with some empty tables. I observed the waiters bring food to tables that had not ordered it, one table was brought a large salad and then waiter returned and asked if they had eaten anything from it and then took it away. I hope it was thrown out not reserved to someone!! We never received our combo soup. When I mentioned this to waiter when we attempted to pay, he gave us 10% off. Needless to say, no tip left. They need some waiter training. There was a slight language barrier for our waiter as well. He did not speak English well but he tried and we were able to make ourselves understood, we thought....."
