"Found this place at the recommendation of the hotel. Good service, loud music, and bring called Bird rotisserie chicken. May be it was a mistake to order the chicken pot pie. But if they had great chicken, the potnoie made from the chicken ought to be good... right?It was just OK. Lots of white meat, no bones like some reviewers complained about, but bland. A crisp, flaky, tasty crust makes up a lot, not not for the bland filling."

"The young clerk who waited on was beyond exceptional! She was very professional, knowledgeable and very friendly.I noticed an older guy and I asked if he was the manager, he nodded and said yes. He had the personality of a WALL and that's the nice way to put it. I conveyed my appreciation for the customer service that we received from Evelyn, he didn't even take a second to listen to what I had to say.I would say that we'd be back but after the encounter with the manager, I don't think we will.The food was hot and tasted delicious. The dining room was fairly clean and orderly. The restroom (Mens) was clean and the tissue was plentiful. The parking lot was also very clean."

"5 stars for eating, 1 stars for service. this place was amazing when he first opened. the manager were welcoming, smiling, very engaged. now they don't seem to care, robotic, uninterested. also according to Californian right they are required to provide access to a toilet room, but they have a sign that no public toilets are available, otherwise it should only say restroom for customers."

"My favourite item (Venice Beach Bowl) went away and that depressed me. I thought I'd start by seeing all Tocaya people. Usually, if a restaurant like this offer 's choose your protein bowls / salads, there is nothing for vegans but a...as about extra avocado? Answer. But Tocaya offers 2 vegan protein options: vegan picadillo and tofu. The Picadillo is a mixture of afterlife meat, vegetables and spices and is quite delicious. It's my usual visit. The tofu is very well seasoned and also quite good. They also have two shrunk vegan cheeses available. Not sure what brand they use, but they are both....meh. They have a plastic texture. I'd share it. The bowls are a little small, which is nice for a simple lunch, but if you are 're plant-based and looking to load it is a little short. Flavors and freshness of everything are great. Chips and guac are ok, but not worth the extra price. Tacos look good, but I did not try because the vegan options are not very taco-friendly. Would be nice as they already use Beyond Meat to add the Jenseits chicken strips or other option for tacos. The line at noon is a little exaggerated, into the shopping center and down to Van 's sometimes, but it moves at a good speed. Downside is that they don't keep commands based, so you order and then wander around for a while looking for a place. Would be better if it's a sit-down, server restaurant, especially since it's a bar and always on to order more drinks at busy times a trouble. Really beautiful decoration inside, love the outdoor seat and drinks options."

"Exactly what you want sometimes. Service was attentive and kind with no frills or useless chatter, which is a great change in the area. True, prices are a little higher for some items but you’re in a pricier area. Also the jukebox system seems a bit wonky with people’s requests.Sat near the kitchen and had no problems nice energy. Wings are very good. Seems like some negative reviews are from people who went in pretty late with a weird group, with different expectations, or from diehard fans who take things personally."
