"This is a follow up review since I didn't write anything the first time I ate here. I love the place. Down to earth atmosphere. People at the front /register know their menu and are super friendly. The food is delicious. Generous servings. If you're ordering to go they have a great patio area (enclosed) to hang out while you wait.Definitely recommend you stop in and grab a bite."

"First, we live in Lubbock, but if we are anywhere close to Abilene, we always stop here. Best fried chicken on the planet. We have been 100% satisfied with the quality, flavor, and service provided, every time we have come. I can’t recommend this place enough. To all the people crying because Belles has rules and the same way of doing business for everyone, go somewhere else if you don’t like it. To the folks who cry because it’s so expensive, I’m pretty sure KFC and Church’s still operates in Abilene, if a $5 fried chicken meal is what you expected. Judging from the crowds every time we go, they’ll be ok whether the bitchers and moaners eat there or not."

"We got the Mixer and glad we did. It was a mix of roasted style chicken, fried chicken and chicken tenders that created a cool combination. The roasted chicken was juicy and flavorful. The fried chicken was crispy, delicious and had an excellent texture to it. The tenders were tender and top notch to us. Then the potatoes and Mac and cheese were all just as good as the chicken as well. Lastly, there rolls had a sweet like flavor, almost dessert like, yet they went perfectly with the meal."

"I went through the drive through and ordered a very simple order.after waiting nearly 25 minutes in line, the girl at the window read my order back to me correctly. I got the order and left. After reaching home to open the bag and find out it was completely wrong. I called the store to complain but no one would answer."
