"I love to come to this restaurant! eating here is always good. the ice is the best! this place gives me that the 1950s vibe plays with old school music in the background and then there is this juxebox as soon as they come. I recommend this place definitiw. everyone who works at confectionately yours is super friendly and will check on them to make sure everything is in order."

"I asked to have seat to view the Titans game and I couldn’t have asked for better seat if I chose it myself. The waiter we had was amazing again. We had him last time we were here. Unsure of his name but possibly Spanish or Portuguese gentleman. He makes the already awesome dining experience for brunch to an truly amazing experience. If there is something other than remarkable that would be him!! Of course everyone that you see is always making sure all the customers are being taken care of. We were lucky enough to get our waiter. Your good is always amazing and lil different each time. That’s what makes this place amazing place and I recommend it to all our friends"

"We were in town to celebrate my daughter's 18th birthday; party of 6. I had asked for a nice view table, but unfortunately, they could not accommodate as it was prom weekend- understood. 2 dinners of scallops, 1 fried shrimp, 1 stuffed rockfish, 1 stuffed shrimp and 1 cedar planked salmon. All good but salmon was a bit overdone. Alanna, our server was awesome. All in all a good meal and a good time"

"June 11, 2023: I visited Big Shake 's Hot Chicken and Fish in Franklin and tried their catfish fillets in the Stop, Drop, and Roll heat, along with fries and collard greens. My experience was decent, with some hits and misses. The catfish fillets were cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed them. However, there was only inconsistency in the preparation as the fries fell short of my expectations. While some were fresh and hot, others were warm, I would have preferred a more consistent and uniformly hot serving. As for the collard greens, they were decent but didn 't stand out. They served as a satisfactory addition to the meal, but I felt they could have been better. My main concern was the condition of the restaurant itself. The floor was excessively sticky, which made moving around quite uncomfortable. Additionally, flies buzzing around were a considerable distraction. The condiment station was in need of attention, which affected the overall cleanliness of the dining area. Also, there were no utensils provided in the bag. I wish the employees were more proactive in making sure necessities are bagged with orders or at least asking if customers need anything to accompany our meals. Taking all these factors into account, I rate my experience at Big Shake 's Hot Chicken with 3 stars. While the catfish fillets and flavors were enjoyable, the inconsistent fries and various issues within the restaurant left me with mixed feelings. I hope they can address these concerns to provide a more satisfying dining experience in the future. Despite these mixed experiences, the catfish fillets made the meal worthwhile. If Big Shake 's can remedy the other unfortunate issues it would enhance the overall dining experience."
