"Beautiful Indian restaurant in the 17th arrondissement, which is not easy to find. we spent there a great evening with authentic Indian food, very friendly service and great hospitality. not unusual, but an honest place that is quite small. all the dishes we had were really good and very tasty nothing to complain. the service is attentive, helpful and very friendly. if they are looking for a neighbourhood like Indian restaurant, it is the place to go. we are coming back!"

"We were looking for a vegetarian restaurant for dinner after on a chilly night. Went for Desi road as it had good reviews on TripAdvisor. We ordered a Pani puri, Palak Pata Chaat and vegetarian Thali. I have had fresher puris else where but all other food was really nice. Overall Desi road is a nice cozy place with a great ambience and service."

"Client and neighbor since the beginning I can only recommend Kurry up. I've eaten almost everything and it's still impeccable, just so many friends ask me to bring them food. The seat is therefore a good relationship/quality above the neighborhood, and the reception/service so pleasant. "Friendly staff, nice classy atmosphere. They seemed to know about veganism and only brought us one thing with yogourt in it (I re asked about every dish they brought). The roti and chutney's (watch out for the non vegan one) were excellent. Otherwise, the food was about 2 out of 5. Pretty standard potatoes and chickpeas with plenty of oil. What is notable here is we specifically asked the server to suggest things without potatoes in it however, everything we got did, including the suggested mixed vegetable curry dish that was 50% potatoes. This left the impression that the staff was friendly but not necessarily concerned about our meal. We got the matar mushroom, a vegetable biryani, and mixed vegetable curry. All were ok at best. Disappointing. We were hoping from the other reviews that it might be excellent. I say 3 stars as the atmosphere is pretty nice if you don't care about the food."
