"We came here for breakfast on Saturday morning, our friend had booked the table for 10am, so first sitting, there were quite a few people waiting for it to open. Restaurant is very nice and staff were lovely, we were waiting for another of our party to arrive so did not order food straight away, we had drinks, whilst waiting we checked how long we had the table and it was for 2 hours, all good. When our friend arrived we ordered, 3 of us had breakfast crepes and the other had a sweet one. They all looked very nice although maybe a little dry, they tasted very nice and bacon was very good. Would definitely visit again if the area."

"In my opinion the latest change of management at the longwood is the final nail in the coffin. We as a family have been going to the longwood for about 20years and seen many changes but it is now time to find a new pub. The last manager was very friendly, made everyone feel welcome and the pub seemed to be getting busy again. He has been replaced with a manager with all the personality and warmth of a wet dish cloth and the pub has the atmosphere of a morgue!! RIP The Longwood "

"I went here for a work social, never been here before, I can assure you that the food and the hospitality here is amazing, starter was beautiful, I had a chicken starter can’t remember what exactly (some fluffy battered balls with a drizzle of syrup) a chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and a portion of chips along with a keema naan, all which was absolutely perfect, I look forward to going again, sorry I have no photos as by the time I thought of taking photos I’d eaten it. The staff were brilliant, extremely welcoming. Thank you and kind regards David Platt."
