"We had friends visiting from Australia and wanted to take them to places we'd tried and had good food in previously. The food was lovely as always but the staff seemed to be in a hurry to go home. My friend put her cutlery down as she was chatting and her fork was whipped away even though she still had food on her plate that she was going to eat. The waitress looked at the 3 forks she'd already cleared and was about to guess which one was my friends but thankfully went to get her fresh cutlery. Whilst we were watching this my wine cooler was taken away without my noticing. I knew there was wine left in the bottle as I always turn the bottle upside down once empty. When we eventually managed to attract the waitresses attention and explained that we were sure there was wine left which had been taken away we watched them get the bottle back out of the fridge ! I asked why it hadnt been returned once they realised we hadnt finished the bottle but there wasnt much of an explanation. When I poured the bottle there was a large glass of wine left !! Such a shame as had recommended the place to several friends but this completely changed my opinion and we wont be returning"

"Better kebab roll. I thought I would give this place a go, which I ordered Kebab reels was £3 each so ordered 4 then told them where £4.50 each of the manager who said they were big. When I came home, there was only a small amount of meat in them that was not very beautiful."

"I must assume that the other reviews have been planted for samrat! eating is incredibly mediocre (especially in comparison to nearby restaurants) and the service is terrible. our poppadome were average, with two from a glass chutneys that were much too sweet. the curry was hard and tasteless, and again a lot too sweet. and the service was rude and not helpful. I have been doing too much for years and always had amazing experiences; this was the exception and is not better (and worse) than standard British Indian tariff. really disappointed."
