"The best place to have French breakfast in pond. It's pretty crowded at the weekend. Must taste their butter croissant, veg sandwich and donuts. The croissant has a perfect blend of butter, softness and crispy. Must be breakfast when in town. They also sell cookies and desserts. All the foods were fresh."

"One of the good places near Auroville. They have a very nice menu and the service is very good. On our three day Pondicherry trip, we made a point where we came back for lunch. Both North Indian and Chinese foods, vegetables and non-vegetables are both good. The ambience is good too and there is also parking for two wheelers."

"I am sure running a restaurant and being in this business is not easy and it brings lots of uncertainties. This is why I don't understand the passiveness of the people who run some of the places. <br>
Maybe food here is not so bad. But when you enter the place it is so shabby and dirty that I actually wanted to turn around. Only because I was embarrassed to make it so obvious, I remained and said to myself to try at least one dish. If the places visible to the customer (including the staff) is kept in such condition, you don't wanna think what is on the other side of the wall and that for sure doesn't boost your appetite. <br>
Ordered mushroom manchurian which i can't really rate properly, as the before-mentioned condition of the restaurant was really putting me off. IT seemed a bit on the sweet side, which I didn't notice in other places where i had it. Rarely I like the sweetness in savoury dishes and also here the taste didn't work out. It also had a lot of pepper, I'd prefer less of that and more of the mushrooms. <br>

If they to start with just repainting the filthy walls and clear up the old boxes that make it look like you are sitting in a warehouse, impressions would already be completely different."
