"I went here after work to grab dinner. It was out of my way but my mom eats here regularly so I wanted to give it a try. I'm happy to report that the food was well worth the detour! I had the chicken tikka masala rice bowl with fajita salad topped with mint and yogurt chutney. Every item inside this bowl was fresh, flavorful, and excellent. Roti's menu is comprised of the quintessential Indian dishes with enough variety and combinations to accommodate nearly everyone. This is great Indian food served in a casual environment and also perfect as a takeout. They even pack the food well so it stays warm for the ride home! Roti is not only my favorite Indian food but also the best Indian food in the inland empire."

"My friends and I are on the way up to Big Bear and we were stopping for dinner. We were craving Indian, and found this spot. Everyone was so sweet, we had such a nice greeting. They filled our water pretty quickly. The food also came out in decent time. We ordered samosas, butter chicken, tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, and aloo gobi. All were seasoned well and meats were juicy. I think the tikka masala was the best. The butter chicken was kind of too watery. We got medium spice level but I think we could have gone with spicier. Tasted mild. I moved to LA from Maryland and have not been able to find any decent Indian restaurants in LA. Would consider coming back here if I’m ever craving Indian."

"First negative review for me. Truly bad service, possibly intentional. We arrived at our reservation at 6:30. We were seated, and then re-seated to another table (because our table was apparently reserved); no big deal. We ordered our food: set menu as recommended by our water. Tea arrived in 15 minutes, but nothing else arrived for an hour. Nobody stopped by to check, even though other tables were getting normal service. I went and found our water (first time ever in my life), he was surprised. A short while later, he brought the cold appetizers (that other tables typically got them in minutes). Another water stopped by to see if everything was going great . I explained that it wasn 't, and he said he 'd check. After about 1.5 hours, our main course arrived (hot appetizers were lost). The food was lukewarm (though good). No apologies or anything like that were forthcoming. Got the feeling we weren 't welcome."
