"We have discovered pancho villas. check in to our hotel we drove back to the old town and the pancho villa. as we are native texans and aftero knowr, we are always a bit skeptical. we were not disappointed! not their usual hills of chips and cheese, but a smaller plate with larger chips that are decorated with guacamole, borons and acidic cream. we ordered another batch. tastefully decorated with attentive and friendly service, do not leave them edinburgh without pancho villa’s!"

"Our friends suggested we meet here and this was my first visit. Nice little pub in the heart of Bruntsfield.<br br/>Food was delicious and presented in a lovely way on wooden boards (although personally I don’t like eating a main meal off a Woden board The bill was more than we were expected for we had mains, starters, puddings and some beer and the portions were quite small for the price.<br br/>Waitress service for food and drink at our little booth was a great touch and we had excellent service.<br br/>The only thing I would say is that we wanted to chat and the place was very busy (Sunday night) with students which made it quite noisy."

"Come hungry! this place offers huge parts that are from this world. we started with a selection of cheese and the flaming chorizo! the chorizo is presented not only fabulously, but also delicious! I ordered bachula con natas (cook with cream,) and it was also super delicious. after the meal, the owner brought a pleasant surprise and always fun about a Portuguese digestive drink to try out other cultures, but it is certainly strong! the personal is so friendly and made the experience fun and unforgettable. will definitely return!"

"I agree...dreadful. I was looking for the well reviewed Turkish Cuisine restaurant on Rose St, but that is now a nice Japanese restaurant. The Turkish alternative around the corner now is Zara's. "Really good looking bar, really good beer and very quick service. TV's to watch the football is definitely a plus, and the sound is turned off so you can still have a conversation. The price of a round is a bit high, but that's the norm for most bars in the middle of Edinburgh."

"My wife and I had our lunch here yesterday We shared starters. Piri piri chicken wings and mushrooms. Both tasty. We then had fajitas and fish and chips. My chicken fajita was very good tasty maybe a bit expensive. All round an enjoyable experience in...a pleasant restaurant."
