"As a Gastonia Native, I 've been eating at R.O. 's since the 50 's. As a child I used to order the slaw burger (which has no meat, only their famous spicy slaw). As I grew older, I graduated to the minced BBQ sandwich, and as an adult, I now prefer the sliced BBQ sandwich (all with extra slaw). Get plenty of napkins! Many patrons order the hamburgers and hot dogs (with the slaw and chili). You can still order from and eat in your car, so no need to dress up. Please remember to tip your car hop! This has always been a blue collar restaurant, which was a favorite of the Textile Mill workers (at the height of the Gaston County based industry). Come to G-Town for a real treat!"
