"Extremely slow service. Getting our food took 30 mins while getting the bill took another 10 mins. Our visit was certainly unpleasant. It was like they were deliberately being slow."

"Overpriced everything with average serving. Maybe because it's a well-known party spot.

We used to have lunch here every now and then since the place was close to my office.

During day time, the place looks a bit too dim but tolerable. They serve wide varieties of dishes and talk about drinks.

Best accompanied with friends. Recommended for big groups."

"Tuan Tuan is one of my favorite restaurants in Megamall. It positions itself as the first Chinese brasserie in Manila.

I usually order their menu, which consists of Tom Yung Goong, Teriyaki Chicken, and a cup of hot coffee. The Tom Yung Goong was pleasant, if very mild. Chicken, had a crispy exterior and enough teriyaki sauce that the slight saltyness of the poultry wouldn't overwhelm. The chicken appeared to be grilled as it has some burn marks on the skin, which is normal with this type of method. Coffee had a good milk base that didn't come out too strong and complemented the food well.

To take away, it is important to me to order your snow rolls. It's like their competitors' pork buns, but I like Tuan Tuans better. It has a cookie-like appearance that gives it an added crunch, but there appears to be another layer of bread underneath that contrasts the crust with a chewy bread texture. Of course, let's not forget the sweetened pork filling that ... read more "

"We hesitated at first bc there is no customer, but we tried it eventually. It was merienda time so we settled for smores milkshake and wings and chips to share. What we had was beyond our expectation. The milkshake is so good. It is not that sweet that mu friend who have a very sensitive taste bud for sweets loved it. The fries (chips) was also good together with its dip. The wings has multiple flavor to choose from. We choose the original flavor and man it is the best wings i've tasted. It is full of flavor, that you would wasnt to leave your utensils and use your hands in eating it instead to make sure you maaximize the chicken, which is what we do by the way. The wings is crispy and we much it to the bones. We both leave with a happy tummy :)))"

"It was my first time to be in Madison Commons, another Food Park, another stop for consumers to get new dining options. It's located in an already restaurant rich community, Kapitolyo. In fact this is the third food park in this small area.

Taqueria is one of more than 20 stalls here at Madison Commons. This strip has quite a diverse of cuisines, almost no conflicting offerings from one food establishment to another.

They offer you Mexican inspired dishes. Their team are consist of young entrepreneurs who have passion for good food. They are lead by Chef Karl Jude Boo, also know as the six pack chef. He showcases his cooking and preparations in an open kitchen style here.

Getting your re-invented Mexican creations could take time as they do it by hand and with lots of TLC.

First one that came our way was Taco Trio. It's a perfect starter featuring three meats at time- Pork Carnitas, Beef Sirloin and Chicken. The slow cooked pork and then crisped were most interesting but chicken still won my heart with its sweet citrus flavor.

We got Chicken Quesadilla next. It was curated differently, strips form instead of the usual triangle shaped. It has grilled chicken, caramelized onions and lots of oozing mozzarella cheese.

Rice Bowls arrived and these were presented in shiny containers. It was calling our names! We were served Pork and Chicken variety, both with nutrient rich black rice. Slow cooked pork belly was tender beyond words, it was flavorful as well. The Quarter Leg Grilled Chicken on the other hand lacked a bit more seasoning.

Taqueria could be the best stop here. They offer you more than food and is their love to see you enjoy what they take the time to make.

alwayshungry.ph"

"My recommended resto for Filipino-Mexican food around Ortigas area. We ordered Buritto and Quesadillas. They give generous serving and the sauces are one of their highlights. The tables may get full easily even on rainy days. We enjoyed the food overall and will try other items in their menu. "Shaburi is an eat-all-you-can Japanese Shabu-Shabu restaurant found in the Uptown Mall at the Bonifacio Global City. Shabu-shabu is a mainstay in the local food industry but it is usually Chinese style and sometimes Taiwanese style. This is the first time I have heard and tried of Japanese style shabu-shabu. I am a veteran of Chinese style (oily and heavy broths) and Taiwanese style (less salty and oily) shabu-shabu and I think the Japanese style is a little mix of both.

Each customer is provided a cooking pot and the first step is choosing the soup base that you want. For new customers, they give you a free sample of each type for you to decide which soup base you will use for the remainder of your meal.

The buffet area is where you get the vegetables, noodles, assorted meat balls and the ready to eat food like chicken wings, gyoza, rice and soup. On the other hand, the sliced meats are brought to your table directly, freshly sliced and not like other grill and shabu-shabu restaurants where they are unsanitary exposed at the buffet area.

The different eat-all-you-can packages revolve around the number of meat plates you want (if numbered or unlimited) and all of them include unlimited buffet area access. I found the lunch promos quite enticing with a plate or two of the meat and then unlimited buffet access for an affordable price.

Shaburi is an excellent restaurant with good food and service. I hope they open more branches soon especially nearer the Greenhills area where I live!

snapsnstories.blogspot.com"
