"My Mom and I have ordered food from Golden Bull on many occasions. Our go-to items are Hainan Chicken with rice (my Mom's fav and Hainan Chicken with rice noodles in soup (my fav . The chicken is always on point... very moist and delicious. Best steamed chicken ever! You may request white or dark meat. Drumstick for my Mom please LOL. I go for the dark meat, but most recently I switched to drumstick, too... there just seems to be a lot more meat on the drumstick side than the wing side LOL. They also do party trays which we ordered for my brother's housewarming and birthday party recently. Yang Chou fried rice was not as flavorful as we would have liked... very bland. Salt and pepper chicken wings were delish! Big size wings. A tad more salt and pepper would have been nice. Seafood egg noodles were very tasty... ask for substitute of thick egg noodles otherwise they will make it with thin egg noodles. Of course, we also got two whole hainan chicken. Yummy! Staff is always friendly and pleasant. It looks like a family business with husband and wife running the show. Sometimes we'll see a younger man helping out. Prices are decent... not overly priced. They are located in the GW Supermarket food court. Plenty of parking, but they can get full fairly quickly. Give Golden Bull a try when you're in the San Gabriel area. We don't even live in the area, but we're practically out here every weekend LOL! We're devoted to good eats despite of distance... so can you . Happy is Golden!"

"We used to come here all the time! The food, the service and the ambiance is great! I miss them! They've been closed since the beginning of the lockdown. : I'm the area a lot and always passed this South East Asian restaurant that serves Thai, Vietnamese, Laos and Singaporean cuisine. What initially caught our eyes were the awesome deals on spring rolls! $1 Spring rolls on Mondays Wednesdays after 4 pm with min $5 purchase. Done Deal! After our first visit, we were hooked! Their spring rolls are fresh and tasty! May be better than Summer Rolls? :P All the other items have been delicious! EVERYTHING! They have great meal deals all the time! Some deals they have had: $13 3 Course Feast appetizer, entree dessert); $25 3 Course Feast for 2 people. The complimentary starter roasted peanuts, seasoned won ton strips sliced sausage this is a yummy start to a great meal. Tasty and great textures. Vietnamese Chicken Salad very refreshing and a huge portion! It comes a green and purple cabbage, mint, pickled radish carrots and has a very light citrus dressing. One of my fave dishes. Nem Nuong Combo enough for 2 people, comes with 2 types of pork, shrimp rolls and veggies for a Roll Your Own Spring Roll adventure! One of my faves! $12 on Mondays Wednesdays after 4 pm. Nem Nuong Spring Roll Grilled pork spring roll with shrimp egg roll delicious! The egg roll provides the perfect crunch, lots of fresh veggies and a great dipping sauce. $1 special on Mondays and Wednesdays after 4 pm. Tai Kadai Sampler 2 types of Spring rolls, Egg rolls, Samosas and Chicken wings. This is a great meal when I want a variety, or great as a shared appetizer. Fried egg rolls yummy! One of my faves! Perfect crunch with great flavors. Shaking Filet Mignon Very savory and love the sauce! Pad Thai great flavors and perfect noodle texture. On point! Thai Tea on point, creamy and served in a huge glass, but there's never enough. Desserts include Fosselman's ice cream. Some items to try out the next time we're there: Singaporean Chili Crab and Lobster with noodles. Customer service is always great! We've never had a bad experience. Lots of parking as it is located in a large plaza. Street parking is also available. Definitely recommended!"

"The decor is minimalist and restaurant is not big. When we first entered, we are the only party of two next to a big party. As soon as we had ordered, more and more people came in and the restaurant was soon full. Specials on the wall all in Chinese and I was afraid we were cooked. The menu is bilingual. We ordered the appetizer green beans, served cold, coated in a fried ginger sauce that was sharp as spring. Jellyfish Salat was our second appetizer, and that was a delicious surprise. Crunchy but soft and coupled with the crushed cabbage, an excellent contrast. As the main actor we treated ourselves to pig bell served in a pumpkin and that was lush. Rich sauce, lush pig and sweet squash. Jesus. The Brisket beef hotpot was the biggest disappointment. The bride was tasteless, broth thin and greasy. The daikon however absorbed the aromas and tasted wonderfully. The Chiu Chow noodles had shrimps, scalion and a hint of smokiness that you wish was the protein beef. Braised chicken wings tasted more than braided, but they won and addicted. Close to the entrance of the restaurant hangs a board with many post-it notes. Many people write their favorite dishes on a post-it note. Note that the chicken wings are often called as well as the jelly salad and sizzling chicken hotpot. We would definitely go back. The service was attentive and polite. Only CASH. They serve Tsing Tao and Budweiser. Cute oranges served to dessert."
