"This place has always been our go-to place to get ice cream. The quality is great! Since the new ownership has taken over, it seems to be a little more slow with the speed of receiving our items when we're in the drive-thru. This could of course be due to decreased staffing due to the world's circumstances right now, so definitely not all the location's fault. However, previously when my family would only order ice cream through the drive-thru and we were behind cars with a large food order, a worker would come out the back door and give us our ice cream/take our money so it could be quicker and we could pull around and be on our way. Lately that hasn't happened and we are always waiting for 10 minutes for ice cream. Then when we get to the window, the ice cream has melted as it must have been made as soon as we ordered it. Not a huge deal, I would just recommend if it's possible to continue to bring out smaller items from the back door or have the food person pull off into a parking spot and run their food out when ready like at fast-food chains. Other than this everything is great and we love the experience!"

"The fish chips were excellent, and so was the cider. Great service. Fish was lightly breaded with plenty of fish. Apple burger was tasty. Fries were perfectly cooked and made with a twist. Will come back when I visit Michigan again."

"We traveled all day from Kansas City to Taylor Park RV park and met with two very kind park employees when we first arrived. The following day I went back to pay for our site and was met with the most hateful horrible manager Sherry that I have ever encountered in any RV park around the country. She called me again to come to the office and had a second horrible experience with her. You drive all those miles to a peaceful beautiful place to relax but it was anything but that. Sherry wanted to make sure she got a shot at ruining our vacation morning not just once but twice. I will never recommend this RV park to anyone it was very disappointing. The trading post employees were great and so were all the other staff we encountered around the area. Next time we will stay outside the campgrounds of Taylor park on public land and enjoy our rides from there."
