"I have ordered in the last year (and many paints before) more than paints of this restaurant by eating and delivering. the last two times I ordered, my soft drink order was wrong. So this time, I wrote a note that makes clear what it should be. a few minutes after the order, the order was canceled by the restaurant. when calling and talking to the manager, it is obvious because I requested a refund. it seems strange that the manager is no longer willing to have my use because of reimbursed softdrinks."

"Some people have written some very negative reviews here. I don't know which restaurant they went to perhaps they are just fussy belligerent folk, or perhaps they had an unfortunate experience, I don't know. I have never been disappointed by Kaifeng's food or service,...though they can be busy. Kaifeng is the best Kosher Restaurant I know. The food is top notch and entirely Kosher and authentically Chinese. Unfortunately they know they are the best, and they charge accordingly and remain busy. So only go if you are prepared to pay well for your meal. We looked at a family celebration of my son's bar-mitzvah and decided we simply could not afford it. Do check the web site and ask, as there is normally a discount of at least as standard. Most recently my wife and I went for our wedding anniversary. The staff appear to all be Chinese but strangely they have backed off from the Chinese decor they used to have and gone from some more western paintings on the walls. Also we were given chop-sticks, as soon as we asked, but the default setting was a knife and fork. Perhaps they know their clientelle and have found a lot of people don't like things too strange precautions were satisfactory (we went during a lull in the pandemic). Still a great restaurant if you can afford to eat there."

"Booked a table for 8 for a family birthday celebration. Chose The Cock as we wanted a walk in Trent Park before lunch. Was a little concerned because of some of the negative reviews and wanted to make sure my mum enjoyed herself, but our service was good and the food was certainly plentiful. Had ordered the Duo of Beef the week before at The Arkley and I have to say the portion size at the Cock was MUCH bigger. The pub doesn’t feel as sophisticated as The Arkley, is a bit more lively, and the furniture is a little tired, but we all enjoyed our meals Seabass, Roast Pork, Roast Chicken, Tagliatelle and Beef. Just beware, the mini puds are either mini or huge depending on what you order the pavlova is huge, the mousse is mini. In summary, an enjoyable occasion with nice food and no complaints at all about the friendly service we received."

"Experience 1: I had heard great things about original lahore and was therefore very excited to eat here. I liked eating here safe, but I definitely ate somewhere better. we ordered a part of tandoori huhn, mango leti, kadhai keema, roti and naan. I really enjoyed her tandoori chicken, but it was best in average. kadhai keema was to the top and so was her mango leti. the service and the ambiente were good. I will certainly return to the restaurant to review other items on their menu and probably a look at my review as I felt that the restaurant has much to offer in view of the number of people eating on a weekday. probably it was just a bad day for her in the kitchen and I should not be prestressed by a single experience. experience 2: so I visited her yesterday and the experience was very nice! her lamb biryani is amazing and so is her butter huhn. it is now at my recommended places to eat in hendon!"

"Today we had a very nice Sunday meal with the family at Spaniern. when we arrived, we sat up and the only reason I booked is because of the beautiful cameine that turned out were down. I think they must make a special question for this, so have definitiw learned this section for the future. I also booked more than a month in advance. when we arrived, there were no other guests and there was no heating. when we asked the waiter, his attitude was a little rude and was hesitant to turn the heating on which was very inhospitable. the service was too slow, as they were completely booked. but eating was nice and we had a great time. great aromen and large portions. there was a great family situation and there are parking spaces on the ground that was great. to this season I would recommend some Christmas music to experience a bigger atmosphere. we had many different dishes as family- see pictures. we loved the charm of the building. we will definitely be back!"
