"Today for lunch very helpful friendly staff. we both had jäger huhn with the best sweet potatoes I've ever had and garden beans. first were the serving big chicken breast with whips of cheese grill sauce and...Bacon we had both jäger chicken friries and inherit a latte a bottle water and a great diet coke and the bill was still under great value for money and fantastic food."

"The food did take over an hour to arrive however it was a Saturday night so can appreciate if they are busy. When the food arrived... wow! It smelled delicious and the takeaway tubs were really heavy and full. You really get a lot of...food for your money. We ordered a lamb dopiaza, pilau rice, chicken biryani, sag aloo and two keema nans. It only came to and if you spent over they give you a free bombay aloo. There were just two of us and we had too much food, we ended up with leftovers (which we did finish the next day) although we did give it a good go and try and finish our food that first night as it was so tasty. There was a lot of meat in the curries which were both cooked nicely. The sauces in the curries were full of flavour and the keema nans were HUGE! The sag aloo was cooked well and there was a perfect mix of potatoes and spinach. We will definitely be ordering from them again as it was really good quality tasty food and great value for money."

"We have been loyal customers here for many years and it pains me to leave a bad review....but after bad takeaways recently we are unlikely to have another for quite some time. The food was either dry or very greasy. Lacked flavour and barely...any sauce. It’s not the cheapest by far so the standard is simply not acceptable. I will keep an eye on the reviews and will only try again once things are back to consistently good."

"We had a lovely meal at the Duke of York. The menu was great even though it was over the Christmas period. Starters lovely. Waited a little while for our main course but it was worth the wait. A little cold in the restaurant."
