"When:<br/ Been to this place Friday(29 June 2018) evening and we were second couple to dine in at 6:50PM.<br/ <br/ First impression:<br/ This place is tiny with limited tables, we found corner seats which later recognized extremely near to kitchen wall(Can literally here talks from kitchen) :DWithin 15-20 minutes many take-away orders happened. 1 couple, 1 individual and 4 aged people joined to dine in. Ambience was decent, not noisy.<br/ <br/ Service:<br/ It took long to get ordered food on table, for which manager apologised later. (We spent 6:45PM to 8:40PM at this place finishing up our dinner)<br/ <br/ Ordered:<br/ 1 Vegetable Samosa<br/ 1 Vegetable Pakora<br/ 1 Paneer Butter Masala<br/ 2 Garlic Naan<br/ 1 Dal Makhani<br/ 2 Pistachio Kulfi (1 ' deep and 3 ' round shaped glass bowl with 4-5 very small pieces) <br/ 2 Rice(Complimentary)2 Papad (Complimentary)<br/ <br/ About team:<br/ 2 Receptionists are from Nepal, Cook from Pakistan, Manager(Claiming family business) from India<br/ <br/ Overall experience:Been booked table in advance via call, did not found any table mentioned as 'Reserved ', but had empty tables(3). Receptionist was unaware of pre-booking.Take-away orders are in high demand which may be the reason for delay in dine in order to serve. Everything we ordered, tasted good as per authentic Indian flavors.I recommend this place keeping prices, quantity and authentic taste of food in mind. Worth revisiting and exploring more menu from this restaurant."

"Felt like something different for a late lunch before boarding my flight and just wasn't feeling like the standard airport fast food offerings.Tried Mad Mex burrito with double meat (chicken and beef) and all the extras I was offered. Food was very good, fresh tasting and a generous serve. It was very filling, just what I needed before my flight. Service was friendly enough if not a little robotic!"

"We always grab lunch at the Transit Tavern when shopping/visiting the DFO as it's a nice place away from the business crowds. But one waitress spoilt left a bad taste in our mouth yesterday. The (dark long hair) server at the cash register was...extremely pleasant but the other (short fair hair) seemed to be in a foul mood and was gruff and abrupt UNTIL we left and we received a more cheery goodbye. Maybe it was because it was less busy? It doesn't matter how busy it is, or if you are short staffed, the show must go on' I am the customer and you are there because customers come in to eat and pay. We can be pleasant to each other. I won't go into the details but we had about interactions with her and all of them were gruff and also with a snide comment about how she had to clean an outside table for us and then we moved inside. It wasn't up to her to judge why it was important for me to have a table in the airconditioning once one became available, my reasons are that I have MS and for my health crucial to remain cool. I remained cool in many ways, I did not respond to her, I did not react to her, but it didn't make the great meal taste any better. I hope this review is treated as a learning/training opportunity. Don't worry, we'll be back because we love the position and food and the other server was amazing, but I thought it was important to give feedback."
