"It's ok... They are trying to be a thing but they just don't capture what this thing is. The food is just average and is too expensive for what they are trying deliver. My partner's seafood dish was very salty and for £26 we both agreed it was worth around £14 at best. The table next to us both had steak and both said it was very chewy. I had their 3 fish dish which is the only savour of the meal as this was cooked well and very tasty. The final let down was the staff had no idea about what was fresh and what was not. They told me the prawns were fresh and caught off the coast of Brixham."

"Brixham is lucky to have this restaurant. It serves delicious South Indian food; which is a completely different taste to your usual Indian cuisine. It's absolutely gorgeous! Tucked away above Fore Street it has a great atmosphere; with very friendly owners. Definitely check this place out!"

"Went today with family, they ordered some curry I ordered burgers, my initial order was a bit slow maybe more than 20 minutes but it was a busy August lunchtime. As a tourist to torquay I don't know if they are short staffed like some other places . Good food and service though"

"Took my Dad here for his birthday treat. He's Spanish, values a tasty tapas and this terrific restaurant didn't disappoint. The service was warm and friendly from entrance to exit (they remembered I'd mentioned it was the old man's birthday and surprised him with an edible candle for his dessert). The food was amazing. Everything we shared was flavoursome and mouth-wateringly delicious but I'll emphatically recommend the Chorizo/Octopus dish AND the Beef Brisket. Have bored plenty of pals about these dished this past week. Very reasonably prices too. All in all, faultless and Torquay's very lucky to have this place."

"Booked for a lunch time on a day in Torquay. When our allocated time arrived, we were brought to the table on the balcony. Since it was a bit smart from a crazy day weather it was a little over .. But turned out that it was completely protected. There is tho a terrace area for days when sun shines. There was a price set 2 or 3 course lunch choice however, as there was a Sunday went for Sunday roast option at £13.95 choice either gammon or chicken. Had the chicken that came with roast potatoes and cream-colored potatoes, glazed carrots, red cabbage, stemmed broccoli, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. I certainly didn't expect such a decent part and such a good standard. Our waitress. Dolly... was beautiful and super friendly."

"Do you want to have a chinese at the sea? the fish and chips sites, there 10 to a dozen in the uk. but a good chinese, that's a bit rare, like chicken teeth. this place is very good, see below some comments from my several experiences: the service-friendly and precise, they know the menu inside and are happy to help with the fussiest of the eater (they all have one). the location - directly from the bus stop with parking to throw a quantity and a stone from the harbour. now the food lip tasty good, now I think a bit of a Chinese knower, nothing better on a Saturday night, time that with the sea air and her on for a winner! in all seriousness, take the position, this is a crunchy Chinese, they will not find better in the brixham area and further a field. I had the most dinge on the menu and can't mistake it. think some of the negative reviews here are of some keyboard warriors with nothing better to do....seriously, they get on the bliss boat, they will not be disappointed. prost! (first time reviewer)"
