"We were recommended by a friend who told us about Manolls Fish Chips. They did not disappoint! Food was absolutely delicious! The fries were nice and crispy but the haddock was the best especially with the dip we had with it! This is a great friendly family owned business that has a lot of history! Will definitely visit again! P.S. Since we arrived a little early they let us put up the flag of the store. -The Boys from Ottawa"

"Wish it was as good as it looks in the picture. The batter is WAY too thick....more batter than fish! I am from Ireland and spent many years on the east coast of Canada...so I know fish and chips! I have never been to a dedicated fish and chip shop where the fish is pre-battered and frozen. I am used to going in, seeing them batter the FRESH fish in front of me and cooking it to order! So far I have not found good fish and chips in Brockville!"

"I have gone there many times for their food it is always fresh great taste and best fries anywhere in the area. The staff are very friendly . They are great price and has an ATM machine as some travellers don't travel with cash. It is worth the drive from Brockville for lunch or supper. I have tried others in Brockville and the worst was Shady Coyotte they short changed me and refused to give the money back. I have heard from several seniors that it happens all the time there. Bud the Spuds are a great place for seniors you can get a great lunch or supper for a great price. and the burgers are fantastic."

"Was visiting some family in Embrun and decided to try the Bytown Bayou truck.... it was amazing!! My wife had the ribs and she loved them. I had the pulled pork with cold slaw. I would highly recommend if you're in the area!!"
