"We saw this pub while driving along looking for a place to dine, before checking into our Inn for the night, in Cabano. We dined inside, as the evening was damp, cool re. rain. There is a front, outdoor patio, which can be covered. The 2 of us had a lovely meal. We each had the combo of small veggie pizza with spaghetti bolognese. It was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, noisy with alot of people chatting.The service was slow tho'!! From the time we ordered until the time the meal arrived, it was 40 minutes. Not sure what was wrong, but the staff were rushed off their feet, so the slowness wasn't due to the staff just shuffling about. My husband later noticed (when we were eating our meal) that other tables had bread baskets, and we didn't. That would have been good to have, while we waited for our meals!I gave this a lower rating, due to the slow service, no breads, and there was a correction to be made on our bill at the cashier desk. Also gave lower tip due to all this, which we hardly ever do! We didn't return to this pub, for our supper, on our return route from PEI, even tho' we stayed at the same Inn again. We might give it another try again, if we stay in Cabano. ?????"

"We stopped here and had coffee and cakes and seat outside in the shade. It was just fine and average for a cafe like this."

"Fried chicken was quite good, chicken fingers were ok, poutine was acceptable but the popcorn chicken was disappointing. It was a convenient place to stop while biking along the Route Verte."
