"I visited this place when I ate in Lima Peru, but this place was occupied with only a few tables and not nearly the amount of menu items as Lima location. I did not ask if one of the other articles is available. I have to say the grill I ordered was not bad, but a little salty. You use the same sausage in both places I think is excellent!"

"So many good flavors happen in El Sanguchón. Tonight I had the Cajamarqueza hamburger with guacamole. The local cheese, mushrooms and salsa became delish and the guacamole was sooo good! All sandwiches are in the 12-15 soles $3-4 usd) row. Can't beat it! Expect them to open 15-20 minutes late."

"I found this place shortly after I arrived in Cajamarca. It was near mt hotel and had a few good ratings so I figured it might be worth checking out.When I got there, the place was packed full. I had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table to open up. Apparently, this place is well known and loved by the locals. It had the fast paced atmosphere of a typical polleria, but it was cleaner, more upscale and tastefully decorated. I especially liked the bar, which was colorfully lit up with fresh fruits and maserado jars.The menu was simple, with two main options: rotisserie chicken and pork belly, which is what I ordered. The meat was juicy and succulent with the right amount of char. It was easily the best pork belly I've had in Peru and the price was more than fair.I don't expect much from the service in places that cater mostly to locals, but this place has their system down and everything I needed was attended to in short order.This is an excellent place to come if you want to eat like the locals and if you want to eat well."
