"This place really serves authentic Bengali cousine at the place this is housed inside an old building but during the puja they have *only* BUFFET which is surprising and a bit disappointing for me, thus am taking back 2 stars from service, also the crowd management could have been much better, with more place for people to sit and wait , because there were lot of elderly people whom I saw coming didn 't have a place to sit, and its hard for them to wait for such long waiting hours , and also stop taking pre booking during the pujas, the chaos happens because of this pre booking only, it must be first comes first basis ! Overall there 's no question on the taste, the richness and the quality of the food, thats phenomenal"

"Couldn't resist the fifth star. If going just for food, skip it. It's good, but not worth it for food alone. Hospitality is top notch as expected from Oberoi. Must have experience. To add to it, the Ningchow Pork with Bamboo Shoots was the most tender Pork I've ever had anywhere."

"I usually skip these auto-review requests, but had to appreciate pause coz I had a disastrous nobo borsho meal only the night before in another ballygunje bong kitchen address. have always loved eating in bohemian as well as visiting. but yesterday's lunch 2 starters, 3 mains, 3 cocktails and 2 sweet dishes, with my foodie friends, anindita moulik and biplav chatterjee probasi bangalis, who gave me their in-house tasty bites, specifically applaud what I loved more than the food and drink their freshness. he could not stop posting pix and we could not stop lying and commenting. surprise us!"

"Authentic and original continental food serving since 1956. The place looks little old, in terms of facilities and serving, however the foods were absolutely delicious. We ordered prawn cocktail, chicken a la mocambo, chicken chipolata, chicken a la kiev, chicken steak, crab claws and prawn starter. Every item was lip smacking. A bit pricey I must add, but definitely a must try."

"The ambiance is good, they created an wonderful theme. Now, lets talk about the service, the service is very poor, they took almost 45 mins to serve food that we ordered. Foods are really very tasty, and they quantity and quality of food was good. But even while distributing the food the service was not maintained properly. "I had visited during lunch to find huge wait time. Also I found it to be very expensive as well as not so tasty. Basis price and location we as customers if we are expecting value for money it's the least we could ask for. We almost spent hours not having anything and waiting for starters. Ambience is fair. I still don't get why charge is so high. If anyone planning to visit pl do proper research before visit"
