"With friends living in the next village. we had the place to ourselves at 14.00 clock (season end), and had great homemade Cretan dishes cooked that were great. the young owners (grandchildren of previous owners) were perfect. on each side there are steps, but also a ramp on the left side."

"Small friendly place in a side alley corner. Has a separate menu page for veggie vegan options. We had lunch and shared the vegan gyros heavenly salad. Satisfying portions and nice food while not exceptional."

"Everything is good here, however, they just fell a little short of great. Maybe it was the cold room, the a bit slow, slightly un attentive service, the length of time time to bring the food to the table... Yes, these kept the place for being short of great on my two visits."

"The staff was super nice and attentive. Lots of vegetarian options. I had the shahi paneer which was amazing. They ask you how spicy you like your food, if you're a fellow white person I recommend not going higher than medium, haha."

"A disappointment. I know I am only a lone traveller and naturally they would give priority to their local residents. I get that, after all you will not be seeing me again after my holiday but you would be with the locals. That’s understandable. However, I trust you could make a few fire heaters for those poor tourists sitting outside who had to endure the strong wind by the sea at night. It’s not that difficult to anticipate given that it’s October and situated at the harbour front. Coming back to the food, the food could be good if only they could be served hot. The chicken I ordered is lukewarm at best and it’s down right cold and unacceptable to eat. I don’t think that’s to do with the cold wind although it had the certain effect of stealing the last bit of heat from the food. Service is just mechanical as how tourists are being treated. They can serve and they treat the locals far nicer but just not to the tourists. It’s a real disappointment! The wine list is huge and amazing! Such a shame that this restaurant is not really for the tourists. Food 6/10 (a solid 8/10 if served hot), service 6/10 (again a solid 8/10 to the locals), ambience 8/10, value for money 6/10 (8/10 if I get the right treatments as to the locals). Disappointed!"
