"Well, we had to wait for more than 5 minutes to get a seat. But I loved the Mexican wrap I had ordered. However the burger that my husband ordered was small and the chicken nuggets were not so up to the mark. It's location is perfect just near the Cathedral as well as station. And I heard from our other tourist friends that the restaurant opposite McDonald's had great veg items (for vegetarians). I've forgotten it's name, maybe it's "Falafal"? or something like that..."

"It was a holiday, so most places were closed, and we happened to find this spot. We're from the San Francisco Bay Area, so there are no shortages of good Thai restaurants. First of all, the service was inconsistent. We were guided where to sit, but we weren't given menus. After several awkward moments, we went up and grabbed menus. Moments later, another couple came in, and they were sat, given menus, and had their orders taken. Same thing happened for another couple who walked in. The waitress gave them menus, took their orders, and within minutes came out with food. This made me furrow my eyebrows, which then caught the attention of the cook in the kitchen, and then she went over to take our order. I have no idea why she ignored us for the ten minutes we had waited there. She knew we were there. The place wasn't busy. I would have walked out if it weren't for the fact that most places were closed that day. Anyway, we ordered vegetarian yellow curry and red curry. Both were awful. The red was overly sweet and salty, and sort of tasted more like Panda Express Chinese food, and the yellow curry was spiced mildly, with a slimy consistency, and lacked any salt. So, if that's your idea of an authentic Thai meal, then you'll love this place."

"Old castle beer garden. Those who expect a historic virgin as a location will be disappointed. the name originates from the location on the old Burger Straße, a meanwhile also traffic-paced north-south connection in the Cologne southern city. bier has a long tradition here, formerly the Küppers brewery was founded and ensures malt-shocked breathing air in the Veedel. the small beer garden with two types of beer from the fass gaffel kölsch and do not cry, the atmosphere is still relaxed. tom, which is at the beginning at the entrance and welcomes its guests who have to decide in the wall between “terrace” with a staggered and “garden” with beer benches. this year the terrace was reserved so ubiers did not fall the choice hard. first round ordered and the situation worked: mixed audience, students, pensioners, workers and Bonvivants are inconspicuous. we were probably the only tourist so the question about the menu was patiently negated: day offer on boards, that is it. "We stayed in the Trip Inn Conti Hotel so this bar was only a one minute walk from our hotel,its a bar I always look forward to visiting as I've been here quite a few times now on previous holidays to Cologne, it's a solid...locals bar serving great food and iced cold beers. I love the look of this bar,a beautiful green tiled serving bar ,wonderful decor and furnishings including some great decorative features throughout the bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside on their cool outside seating area. We were here on a Monday afternoon and this place was full,we very luckily managed to get a table were a very pleasant member of staff took our order of a beer each,we opted to have a Gaffel Kolsch each,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. The Kolsch beer served here is excellent, a light,hoppy beer with a big foamy Head served in the cool distinctive narrow Kolsch beer glass,it was just so good being in such a great bar enjoyong such a delicious lager style beer . On this visit I cannot really comment on the meals as we were here only for beers but I have ate here on many occasions over the years and the meals are just superb, proper pub grub. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer each before we moved on as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Herr Pimock is easy to locate along Aachenstrae,a street and area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, till Friday, till Saturday, till Sunday, till A wonderful bar ,one I highly recommend you visit if your in the area."

"This Indian restaurant, hidden behind the somewhat promising sound name of Kamasutra, is always worth a recommendation, or I almost always mention it when it comes to Indian food. It is very easy to reach by train because it is very central and not particularly large and lies directly on a much moving road, but these are only small criticism points. The store has an unscanny pleasant charm that is only positively improved by the owner. In short, you feel here. The food is not necessarily cheap, but really delicious. As a vegetarian, I could fill my stomach. You should reserve it in advance. I'm going there more often. Try it!"
