"In this beautiful restaurant they choose the special dinner menu 3 courses for £22.95 the portions were large, had cocktail brewed the sose was fantastic never as it tasted. the tikka masala was the best curry I ever had. sticky toffee pudding was beautiful. the staff was friendly and efficient. had a wonderful night. well done."

"Disgusted in the service from the manager Kim she must have me mistaken as a different person and has accused me of complaining every time I’m in there as I have never complained before I would class my self as a good customer will a food bill of £100+ most times and this time I was talked to like rubbish Appalling treatment of a customer and refused to let me speak to the owner can’t complain about the boy who served us as he was a lovely young man but this time we got referred to Kim and well she’s accused me of sending a fillet steak back last time I was there what I have never ordered as I don’t eat fillet steak! My husband has complained once in the past over raw lamb and they then gave him the same lamb back what he still paid for I’m so upset over they way I have been spoken to also she told me she won’t forget me like I’m some kind of deviant would not recommend place used to be 10/10 but has gone down hill and food is average and treat the customers like there doing you a favour buy serving you"

"It was my husband's long overdue return tobthectown of his birth, and after a good walk around for him to soak up the memories, we opted for lunch here as it was close to the bus stop for the trip back to Dundee. We opted for the stone baked pepperoni pizza to share, which we both enjoyed. To accompany it we ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, but didn't check the price with waitress. Finished our meal and drinks, hubby went to the loo before we got on the bus, and I paid for the meal with his card. On the bus home we were talking about the meal, and the cost of it. My husband was astonished to find we had been charged £45,25 for our lunch. £13.25 for the pizza and £32.00 for the wine. When got back to our hotel, I phoned tge Giddy Goose and spoke to Amber who advised that the wine price was correct, £32.00, despite me telling her that I had looked online to find the wine was priced at £22.70. Amber insisted that the £32.00 was the price and that the bill was correct. To add insult to injury, I didn't receive a receipt, so have no proof of what we bought. So if you go to the Giddy Goose, make sure you pay the price displayed in the menu, and also receive an itemised bill for your meal. £32.00 for a bottle of lunch to go with a pizza is more than a bit much, and it left a bad taste in the mouth on a day which should have been remembered for the pleasant memories, not for an overpriced bottle of wine. Very disappointed, especially since arriving home, I can't access their drinks menu to check."

"Appropriate for a small city withdrawal. sweet sour pork pieces were automatically crispy, but sauce disappointing, probably bought (only sweet, not sour) starter of salt pepper chicken good."

"I have a meal on Friday 17/11/17 booked I took my sister who told me that she was the best food they had in a long time. what this great was made to feel welcome atmosphere was good and the workers of the front line were exelent and explains the menu well. it was very relaxing and given between the curses. eating was fantastic, simply melted in the mouth, steaks were cooked to perfection clean plates. the deserts were from this world, followed by a beautiful coffee. we'll be back, we had a great time."
