"Ordered our usual chicken curry etc., was not cooked right. the sauce was watery, thin. we threw it away. very disappointing considering it took 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive. have you got a different cook at Poons, it was good for years now suddenly rubbish.not sure if we will use again unless food goes back to how it was."

"The food used to be very good but seems pretty ordinary these days. My chips were soggy and tasteless. My husband’s fried chicken was not fried, but the stuffing was tasty. Too bad there was only a teaspoon of it. Insufficient staff meant we had to keep asking for the bill and finally had to go to the bar to pay. And it used to be so good! There was also no record of our booking a table"

"Very busy on a Friday evening and therefore rather noisy, OK if you are young but oldies may find conversation hard. Been before in daytime and no worries. Food not fab, llinguini had only four small prawns and four tiny bits of crab and LOTS of pasta! Other members of our party enjoyed their choices on the whole."
