"I have been here three times in total over the years. The last time was in New Year 2017 when we visited some friends who live in Munich. The husband (an old friend from university) convinced me (with very little persuasion needed) that a trip to Andechs was in order. It's quite the trip, but ultimately worth it. A lovely, peaceful place with stunning views. The food is made locally (if not on site) and is very good (I stuck to Brezen mit Obatz'da good drinking food), but their beer is divine very little to choose between theirs and the beer brewed by he mighty Augustiner (another pilgrimage site for me). Lovely people, good service, great location, cracking vittles. Topped off by the fact that a German make voice choir was in the building for a visit that evening, and they raised the rafters with their wonderful singing. Top night my friend regretted it the next day though. Just goes to show that if you're going to down four Mass of beer, Doppelbock is not the sort of poison in which to indulge (nor is a round of schnapps on the way back home a good idea)!"

"It has not expected to find such a high-quality Indian restaurant (now called Ganpati) in a city like Herrsching. Stopped after work tonight and had the Sag Paneer with Basmati rice.... Excellent done! Delicious, the right spices and all the right flavors. Will definitely be back,"

"Tried to eat in this place (restaurant is definitely not applicable), after three quarters of an hour a plate came with something supposedly edible on it. It was supposed to be duck breast with a hot sauce and rice, the whole composition was just an impertinence, after a few pieces of duck breast the topic of eating was done and the plate went back to the kitchen with best regards to the chef. When after a while the waiter came back with the statement that this was a normal plate. The plate that was not eaten was also completely boldly collected and the treatment had nothing to do with professional behavior. That was the first and last visit to this Indian temple of pleasure! But the main thing is that you somehow pull the money out of the customer's pockets at any price. Mission apparently completed successfully. Keep it up. I'm looking forward to your successor! Bravo top performance"
