"We booked for dinner at 8.45, after the order and got our drinks it was just before 9.00. When we tried to order food at 9:00 we were told that the kitchen was closed and there was no food available. Extremely disappointing service that spoils what would otherwise have been a very happy night with our friends."

"The cheerful and boisterous shouts of welcome when you push open that heavy wooden door into a Harajuku Gyoza really livens up the place and gives you a nice rush of warmth and welcome. If only the food here was made with the same attentiveness, but alas, it falls short. I've come through here several times, mostly for gatherings with groups of friends, or else just for a place to sit, have a few nibbles, and wait for a movie to start. In all my visits, I've tried nearly everything, and here's my honest opinion: The food really isn't all that good. The biggest disappoint would be the mains, or "yum bowls" as they're listed on the menu, are almost universally bland, under-flavored, and possibly their only redeeming point is that they're filling. That's about it. My advice is to avoid them at all costs - I gave them two chances. The first, I passed off as a possible fluke. When I got a second bland serving, I swore of their misnamed "yum bowls" completely. On the bright side, the signature gyoza, the desserts, and the sides, are all decent! Some are even quite creative and unique, like the raindrop cake! Unfortunately, everything is almost universally overpriced for what they are. And simultaneously, for the sides, almost everything is overly salted. To the point where you begin to wonder if the chefs have some kind of unadulterated love affair with pure blocks of sodium. The same thing applies for the drinks, alcoholic or otherwise - you'd think they would try harder to be competitive with their drink prices at least, what with two better-priced bars being less than a minute's walk away each, and the old-school Japanese izakaya influence and decor. Sadly, this isn't the case. If you must eat here, then please, stick to the gyoza. Their signature gyoza, at the very least, is reasonably-priced, palatable, and most of all - it's fun mixing up your own dipping sauce!The waitstaff are this place's saving grace. They're enthusiastic, cheerful, try very hard as attentive as they can be even when the place is literally swarming with people, and do everything with a smile. Unfortunately, good service alone is not really enough to prop up an eatery with less-than-desirable eats."

"This is my favourite place to go for sushi! It is a little bit on the pricey side but I always have a good feed when I go here. The only down side is you can't make a booking so on a busy night you have to wait in line for about 5-10 minutes before they can seat you.<br/>Staff are very friendly and treat their customers with high respect.<br/>I go here with friends on a fairly regular basis and have never been disappointed."

"Love this place and have been many times for a quick bite. Everything is so well presented and fresh. They don't charge for toasting either which is how it should be. Lots of staff on so always served quickly. Went there once for a late breakfast and decided to go grab something for lunch too which is very rare for me! Reasonably priced too"

"Service from a moody little blond thing who we seemed to inconvenience by turning up for dinner. The $50 bottle of wine had turned. Meals over priced for the quality and what you got. All round bad, bad, bad also watch out for the 3 legged chairs those things are dangerous. Go somewhere else."

"I have been a few times to this amazing restaurant in Indooroopilly , the dips and the pita breads and basically ALL the food is so delicious , you feel sad when its over .The service is ALWAYS , courteous , not to much trouble for anything and very very convenient location for a good meal , NOT over priced at all !"
