"One of place to eat when in Solo. Yummy and flavorful nasi liwet with lots of protein options, such as shredded chicken, eggs, tempeh, and tofu. Located in the side of the road, makes this place is not too comfy, but they have enough sitting space. The price is very cheap for the legendary food."

"Manir and his wife run a lovely restaurant that feels just like home. Lovely made to order paratha and chicken vindaloo. With a bit of Prost and good conversation, you’re good to go! There are many rooms and even an outside space one can dine in. You can catch a game or movie at the bar. The Manirs also have an extensive library where you can check out a book and bring in a book. The restaurant is in a residential neighborhood and on a side street just fyi."

"My colleagues in yogyakarta brought me here for lunch. really nice local jawanesian kitchen. it is like nasi campur style, where they are the dishes they like, then they pay what they have chosen. the top down was my choice. I had chicken legs and feet, vege and gudeg (especially in yogyakarta) and some sambal. overall the taste is really nice. the seasoned they used are just at the top. I love eating a lot. as this part he cost about 30,000 idr around rm10 or 2.5 usd. it was not very cheap, similar to Malaysia. I enjoy eating here. will definitely come back when I return to yogyakarta."

"Nasi bakar is the main menu in this restaurant, the menu comes in several choice of dishes such as chicken, duck, fish and many others. The place is quite comfortable and interesting because it has a fish pond. If you are dining in with kids or babies, it provides some highchairs to so kids can sit and eat comfortably. But unfortunately the parking area is a bit limited for cars."
