"My wife and I were searching for lunch one day and decided to try the new Japanese place, Sansai, on a whim. The interior is clean, not too busy, with attractive tables and booths. An open kitchen so you can see that the cooks are being honest with a cold bar behind glass holding the salad options. I must say I was a little confused by the ordering process, but really it's straight forward. I'm just a little dumb. We ordered a chicken plate and some kind of a sushi roll (I can't remember now to save my life! . Both were excellent and tasted fresh. I was a little concerned about ordering sushi rolls, and not just a plain old California Roll that you can get from a gas station, but with actual sushi fish on it. Luckily it tasted fine and was not tainted or old. I really liked the salad that came with the entree, and the tomato and cucumber salad on the side. Chicken was not fatty or dry. It was great! We spent about $17 for 2 of us to share a lunch, so it's definitely on the pricey side, especially for a place that comes off as a quick-serve restaurant. But the good news is that the food is good so hopefully this place does well and keeps Restaurant Row looking great!"

"Me and my husband came for breakfast after taking the kids to school so we could have some alone time. The breakfast was delicious I had the Turkey Polish Sausage, potatoes and eggs, my hubby had the sweet potato waffle, chicken wings and eggs. The food was well seasoned and I could tell a lot of love was put into it. The server a young guy checked on us often and mad sure we had refills on our beverages, also the cook came out and asked how we did we like our food which that was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be returning for some more delicious food."

"I haven't been to Elephant Bar in quite some time and was looking forward to their wonderful menu of exotic dishes. That was my first disappointment of the evening. The menu has been significantly scaled down with more conventional offerings and fewer exotic. The restaurant wasn't even half full at 7 PM on New Year's Eve. One would think the service would be very good with so few customers, but that wasn't our experience. First, the server interpreted a drink order of Dewar's and soda to mean Dewar's and Coke and relayed her interpretation to the bartender and returned with the wrong drink. When my date pointed out the mistake she seemed clueless that soda doesn't mean Coke, it means club soda. One wonders why the bartender didn't question it. Also, the drink was supposed to come with lemon zest, but it came with a lemon wedge. Again, probably the server relaying the information inaccurately to the bartender. There was no pepper on the table had to ask for it and no offer to grind fresh pepper on the salad. And it took some time to catch her eye busy chatting with the other servers. The food itself was good the salad was fresh and quite large we split one. I had the jambalaya, which was good and plentiful. Took home most and had two more meals from it."
