"We stopped with friends (with children) on the return of the market for a tea break and oriental pastries. Nothing to say about the warm welcome and pastries (copyy and excellent), but the couscous to take away although good is too expensive versus the meat portions included. We need to improve this point because if we return for the tea break, we will no longer take couscous if the portions do not improve."

"The service was correct. On the other hand, the different dishes were really any, all of them unrelated to the photos of the misleading card, the bleeding pig... not grilled but boiled. Dessert milkshake with creamy milk without flavors. Never again I prefer macdo."

"We happened upon Anecdotes O Bistro while having a wander around Lavaur, which is not a place we often go. We will now, though! This is such a wonderful place for lunch! We ate outside on their terrace, under the trees, so even though it was a very hot day, we were completely comfortable. Also, as it is not on a main thoroughfare, it was quiet, without cars, exhaust fumes etc. We had the menu du jour, which was veal meatballs with lemon - really delicious, and accompanied by about the best frites ever - diet abandoned without a backwards glance. One of us had chocolate mousse for dessert, the other a cafe gourmand. Both were truly excellent. As was the house rose - from Gaillac and produced by resident Swedes, according to our very charming host. If you paid me, I couldn't think of one negative comment about this lovely little restaurant- I'm almost reluctant to review it in case it becomes wildly popular and difficult to get a reservation. It was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch."
